4. The Elements

Your website's content comprises a series of elements, from text to icons, buttons to images, and much more. Stylie's user-friendly web builder tool allows you to add, move, and interact with these elements seamlessly. Here's a quick guide on how to work with elements in the Stylie web builder.

Adding and Moving Elements

Start by opening the sidebar on the left and selecting 'Add elements'. This opens a pane displaying numerous categorized elements. To add any element to your page, say a text element, click, hold, and drag it. Thick grey lines will appear at various places on the page, indicating where the element can be dropped. After releasing your hold, the text element appears with placeholder text.

Moving elements is just as simple. Click and hold the element you want to move, then drag it to your preferred location. The blue circle signals that you are moving the element.

Interacting with Elements

Interacting with elements activates the context toolbar. Here, you'll find universal options like delete, copy, style features such as padding margins, and animations. Other options vary based on the element selected. For instance, the toolbar for a text element will differ from an icon box element's toolbar.

From the options toolbar, you can duplicate or delete an element. Alternatively, right-click on an element to open a context menu offering similar features.

Searching for Elements

Need to find an element quickly? The 'Add elements' option also includes a search feature. Just type in the element you're looking for—say, a video—and it will promptly show up for you to drag onto your page.

Customizing Your Workspace

Some elements may not be relevant to your specific website. To keep your workspace clutter-free, go to 'Edit' and deselect these unnecessary elements. Don't worry—if you realize you need them later, you can easily bring them back.
