Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the constant need to individually design every post page on your website? Stylie has a solution for you - create a universal template for all your post pages. This feature is designed to simplify your web design process and maintain consistency throughout your site.
Creating a global template is relatively straightforward. After designing your page with the desired dynamic elements, assign this layout as a template that will be used on all your post pages. This is achieved by navigating to the Block Settings, which can be found on the far left of your interface, and selecting 'Make it Global'.
Upon clicking 'Make it Global', you will encounter a set of conditions. By default, the template is set to appear only on the page you are currently working on. However, if you want this design to be utilized across all your post pages, ensure you set it to 'posts' and 'all'. This covers the entirety of your website's post section - from the Fashion Week posts to every other category you may have.
Stylie offers flexibility as well. If there's a specific post you'd rather the template didn't appear on, you can easily exclude it by selecting the post and hitting 'Exclude'. For our purposes, we aim to have the template on all posts, so simply delete the exclusion and save your settings.
To validate the changes, update the page. Congratulations, you've just created a global block that serves as a template for all your posts!
Testing this feature is also a breeze. Simply head over to the CMS dashboard and create a new post or duplicate a previous one. Update the post title and add a featured image along with an excerpt. Publish it, and you're done!
This strategy is not only efficient for adding new content but also for maintaining a standard format across all your posts. By simply duplicating any post you've used before and then adding your new content into it, you maintain uniformity and save considerable time. Now you can easily create remarkable templates for your posts, thanks to Stylie.
