In this video tutorial, the Timeline element, allows customization of tab content, styling, formatting, and offers easy duplication for maintaining consistency across steps.

The Timeline element is an indispensable tool in web design, offering a versatile solution for creating step-by-step instructions or timelines. With its user-friendly interface and myriad of customization options, the Timeline element puts you in control of your content.

To start, simply select the 'Add element' option in an empty block and then choose the 'Timeline' element from the panel on the left. Drag and drop this onto your page. Initially, it comes with two tabs, or sections of content, referred to as tab 1 and tab 2. Each tab represents an event or step in the timeline.

The content within these tabs is easily customizable, from the text and icon to additional elements like headings or lines. To add more content, simply go to 'Add elements' and drag your chosen feature into the content area.

Building out content in the timeline is similar to other areas of the builder, and you can easily duplicate content. This feature is particularly useful if you want to maintain consistent formatting across different steps in the timeline.

For customization, you can adjust the settings for the timeline's width, padding, margins, and entrance animation effects. The content area is adjustable, and you can control the padding within the content area as well.

A key feature of the Timeline element is the ability to change the orientation of the content. You can choose between a vertical and a horizontal orientation, depending on the requirements of your design. This feature is complemented by other styling options like the positioning of content, enabling or disabling titles, and setting the number of columns visible on the page.

Another advantage of the Timeline element is its ability to customize the appearance of icons and labels, including their size, shape, background, and color. All these features contribute to creating a more engaging and interactive user experience.

Finally, as with any element in web design, it's crucial to check the responsiveness of your timeline on different devices. If your timeline does not display correctly on mobile devices, you might need to deactivate it or adjust the layout accordingly.

In summary, the Timeline element offers a flexible and easy-to-use platform for displaying content in a timeline or step-by-step manner, making it a valuable tool for any web designer's toolkit.
